SPECULATION
Based on their inquiries and insights at the scale of campus, the city and the region, students are required to formulate speculative questioning or the idea of ‘what if?’ to inform their individual projects. In this assignment, the act of drawing plays a special role as the medium of speculation. Using different techniques of drawing and representation, students are required to re-think alternative systems and worlds. Each project is a provocateur or narrator that instigates discourse and raises questions to engage viewers as participants in these new imaginations.
